Karen Epstein, LCPC, NCC

Karen Epstein is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is also a Certified EMDR Therapist and a Maryland Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). Karen has extensive training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Imago Relationship Therapy, and The Developmental Model for Couples Therapy. She earned her Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a individual, couples and trauma therapist she provides a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space for clients to process their emotions, and develop skills to manage stress; improve their relationships; and heal from difficult life experiences. She utilizes different evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of her clients. Karen is licensed in both Maryland and Virginia.
